Kaitlin Mayne

Kaitlin is a Higher Specialty Trainee in Renal & General Internal Medicine in the West of Scotland Deanery though currently “out of programme” working as a Clinical Research Fellow within the Clinical Trial Service Unit and Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU), Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford. Her interests are in clinical trials in kidney and cardiovascular disease. Through this, Kaitlin became involved with the British Transplantation Society’s (BTS) Dragons Den competition which inspired an appetite to boost collaboration between physician trainees interested in solid organ transplantation across specialties and facilitate research opportunities hence the establishment of BTPT.
